Also known as Lenox Park, Moringside is an intown Atlanta neighborhood located North of
Virginia-Highland, East of Ansley Park and West of Druid Hills. Despite being a small
community of around eight thousand people, the region offers beautiful Craftsman and Tudor-style homes with tree-lined streets. With an easy commute to Downtown and Georgia State University, it’s no wonder why this area is sought after!
Things to do in Morningside
If you are looking for a place to get swept up in beautiful scenery, Morningside is a great option. You can visit the Morningside Nature Preserve with 30 acres of natural green space with walking trails and a suspension bridge over South Fork Peachtree Creek or Daniel Johnson Nature Preserve’s 25 acre wooded area. There’s also the Piedmont Park for Moringside’s Saturday farmer’s market, the Monumental Ball, the Celebration of Summer kickoff party, sports, and much more.
